TÜV Austria Hellas, a pioneer in the tourism industry, is to award the Water Sports Certified Quality certification to the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni Nautical Club (NOV). The award will take place during the special event that will take place on Tuesday, June 20, at the Group’s premises.

Water Sports Certified Quality is a Private Certification Scheme for water sports rental companies that ultimately aims at creating and implementing a reliable operating mechanism with emphasis on delivering quality services with strict safety standards.

In addition, through the international recognition of TÜV Austria Hellas, the Water Sports Certified Quality scheme further enhances the branding, commercial value and potential of certified firms.

Innovative at European level, this certification, which is the product of TÜV Austria Hellas’ collaboration with the non-profit organization Safe Water Sports, enhances the quality of the tourism services provided, effectively enhancing the country’s wider development effort.

Already in its short presence, the Private Sports Sport Certified Quality has been enthusiastically welcomed by the extensive and long-lasting experience of water sports rental companies in our country, which are in the process of being certified.

During the event, Mr. Charalambos Angeloudis, Director of Certification of Systems and Products of TÜV Austria Hellas, Mr. Panagiotis Paschalakis, President of Safe Water Sports, Mrs. Stella Lazarou Tiga, President of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club, Nicolas Piltas, Marine Ski Champion, Mr. Christos Afroudakis, International Water Polo athlete, Mr. Kostas Mavropoulos, Development Manager of TÜV Austria Hellas, Mr. Lysandros Tsilidis, President of the Panhelidic Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies, Mr. Panagiotis Trovas, champion, I coach wakeboard and Mr. Akis Trova, coach Marine Ski and wakeboard.

Following the completion of the talks, a demonstration of the Maritime Ski athletes of the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni will be presented, together with the champion Mr. N. Piltas.
